OPUS physics tutoring will be closed for the duration of the cancelation of in-person classes. No tutors will be available starting on Monday, March 16th.
OPUS executive elections for the 2020-2021 school year has begun, and voting will take place March 23rd to 27th. Details will be distributed.
A $600 bursary for a full-time undergraduate student in any Honours, Joint Honours, or Major program offered by the Department of Physics and Astronomy with satisfactory academic standing and has demonstrated financial need.

OPUS offers free tutoring on first year physics classes for both fall and winter terms. At least one tutor will be available during the scheduled sessions, including the main tutor for that session. Help is offered on a first come, first served basis. The schedule is updated as frequently as possible.
Tutor Availability @ 114 Allen:
Prior to midterms and finals, OPUS members offer a four hour session answering curated questions from previous exams and textbooks (including WileyPlus questions) to prepare you for your exams. For $20 you get in-depth explanations and techniques to solving common exam questions and the theory involved. All proceeds go towards OPUS events and bursaries.

Decades have passed since the founding of OPUS but it has always been an orchestra of curious and ambitious students that share a passion for Physics and Math. To this day, it aims to connect like-minded students, and continues to maintain its amicable position within the department.
OPUS currently offers $600 bursaries, free first year tutoring, organizes the CAP lectures for the faculty, and more. Membership is free and welcome to any undergraduate student (from any department), however only volunteer tutors are offered study carrels in 206 Allen.Members
